Anushka has entered into another genre of acting i.e horror.A good piece of work done by Anushka and other stars.Parambrata's acting is good according to his character in the movie.Ritabhari Chakraborty is a new face of bollywood in this movie.Rajat kapoor is as evergreen like other movies.The tadka of mystery is more than the horror.Some scenes will give you spine chilling moment while sitting on the seat. The movie is very different from Bollywood's typical horror movie which are disastrous these days. But this movie is great with a really nice concept and brilliant acting. if you are looking for the usual paisa wasool type senseless movie this might not be the one. cause it has depth and sense. The cult behind the story wasn't that appealing and the possessed ones looked funny. A one time watch for the awesome cinematography, locations and graphics in general. A good graphical horror movie for Bollywood. Only wish there weren't funny moments.
The movie has a gripping storyline.. with no non sense Bollywood cliché horror plot. The character portrayal by very actor is very convincing with special mention to Anushka . Freshly brewed horror story by Prosit Roy to all of them who have been bored to death by RGV , Vikram Bhatt and directors of the same horde.
This is not a typical horror movie. It doesn't have so many thrills and fright moments. The story moves at a very slow pace, However it is very detailed. performance by everyone is perfect. it's a good watch but unfortunately it will not be a box office record breaker.
The film is not what it has promised through it's trailers, but it doesn't mean it's bad, it is actually unique supernatural thriller in it's own way. The film proceeds linearly with mystery hints at every step. There are surely some issues with pacing and execution of the film. There are some disturbing and unusual scenes in the film, so beware. Anushka Sharma, Parambrata Chatarjee, and Rajat Kapoor had given really good performances.
